I’m very picky with my shoes as most can easily cause blisters and foot pain due to my flat feet.

As a reference, I do have narrow and skinny feet and ankles. I found Vessi shoes to be very comfortable for walking for long periods. I have the Vessi Everyday Classic and the Vessi Weekend pair.

I prefer the Weekend pair because they are more snug on my foot, super comfortable, and supportive.

The arch support on these sneakers is made to let you feel comfortable all day long!

Are Vessi sneakers true to size?

I typically wear a size 9 in women’s shoes and ordered both pairs of Vessi sneakers in size 9. They fit perfectly!

How Will I Use My Vessi Shoes?

If you are someone like me, constantly exploring the world or even your backyard.

I found that the Vessi waterproof shoe is perfect for daily use and traveling.

Living in Hawaii with tropical weather is very unpredictable.

Going on a hike while it is sunny and at the end of the hike, it’s pouring rain.

Now I don’t have to worry about ruining my shoes or dealing with wet socks the whole day.

Being a dog mom, it comes in handy when I go out in the rain during potty time.

My dog especially loves to play in the grass and water puddles.

I love that my pairs are breathable knit and ultra-lightweight, making them perfect for those long travel days.

Pro#1 Waterproof

I like that I don’t have to worry about the weather anymore because I can wear my waterproof shoes in any weather condition – wet or dry.

The Vessi shoes are also slip-resistant, so you won’t have to worry about falling while walking around town.

Pro#2 Easy to clean

These shoes are made from durable materials that make them resistant to rain, snow, or other wet weather conditions.

Plus, they are easy to clean – hose them off when they get dirty! I was walking on some rocks and didn’t notice that they were covered in algae.

Once I was off the rocks, I noticed that my white shoes had algae on the side, and I thought it wouldn’t come off. I went to the shower and started to rinse it off, and I could believe it came off as if it had never happened.

I was impressed!

Cons #1 No half sizing

Unfortunately, Vessi doesn’t offer half-sizing. I didn’t have a problem with sizing, as both sneakers fit true to size women’s size 9.

But I know that many people do need half sizes. On their website, they recommend sizing down for the best fit.

Cons#2 Not all styles are machine washable

Only the Vessi Weekend sneaker is the only pair that is machine washable.

It would have been amazing if all styles were.

Not much of a deal breaker because I have washed mine how they suggest, and it works. It just requires more elbow grease than sticking them into the washer.

Are Vessi shoes worth it?

They are totally worth it. They are perfect for travel as they are waterproof and air-tight, making them ideal for adventures outdoors or long journeys.

YES, they are, in fact, waterproof! I was also skeptical about it being 100 % waterproof.

So I put my pairs of Vessi sneakers to the test. I took them to the park after a rainy day and went to the park shower to rinse them off.

Despite being rinsed and walking through puddles, not one drop of water leaked into the shoe or onto my feet – proving again that Vessi sneakers are indeed waterproof!

It is perfect for rain, snow, mud, and slush environments.

Can Vessi shoes be worn in wet and cold weather?

Yes! I have tested these shoes in both hot and rainy conditions, and they perform well in both cases.

The waterproofing technology does a great job of keeping your feet dry and comfortable, even on rainy days or when it’s wet outside.

Do you wear socks with Vessi shoes?

When you wear socks, the shoe will be able to better conform to your foot’s shape and distribute weight more evenly throughout your entire foot. This will also prevent blisters or injuries due to excessive pressure on one spot.

How to clean Vessi Shoes?

After exploring and just out and about, it is bound to happen that your shoes need to be cleaned. All you need to do is machine wash them. Yes! Really! Machine-washing your Vessi Weekend shoe might seem daunting, but it is easy:

• Remove the insoles and soak them in a gentle cycle with a water-based detergent.
• Place them in a mesh bag if you have one before placing the shoes in the washing machine on a delicate cycle.
• Let them air-dry overnight( DO NOT dry them in the dryer).

For the other Vessi shoes, rinse with warm water. Gently scrub the knit with a cloth or sponge with a mild detergent and let them air dry. Once they’re washed and air-dried, they’ll look and feel brand new again!

After wearing them nonstop for a couple of weeks, I can see why there is so much hype around Vessi sneakers.

I absolutely love my pair of Vessi shoes. They’re stylish, waterproof,100% vegan, and perfect for travel.

They are perfect for inclement weather and can also be worn with many different outfits. Whether traveling to a tropical destination or in rainy weather, the sneakers will fit well and provide good foot support while staying dry and stylish!
